  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks peeled and cored
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice optional for extra tang

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Gather all your ingredients: fresh pineapple chunks, ice cubes, honey or agave syrup, and lime juice if using.
  2. Add the pineapple chunks to your blender along with the ice cubes.
  3. Pour in the honey or agave syrup, and squeeze in the lime juice for a bright, tangy note.
  4. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed for about 30-40 seconds, until the mixture is thick, frosty, and smooth, with no visible chunks.
  5. Pause briefly to check the texture; it should be creamy and icy, similar to a soft-serve consistency.
  6. Taste the slushie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding a bit more honey and blending briefly to incorporate.
  7. Pour the vibrant, icy mixture into glasses, allowing some slush to overflow slightly for a fun presentation.
  8. Serve immediately with a small straw or garnish with a slice of pineapple for a refreshing tropical treat.

Notes

For an extra fruity flavor, add a few pieces of frozen mango or banana before blending.
