Ingredients

  • 3 oz sour apple liqueur such as Apple Pucker
  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • 1 tsp edible glitter preferably green or iridescent
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Measuring jigger
  • Blender

Method

  1. Add the sour apple liqueur and vodka to the cocktail shaker.
  2. Drop in the ice cubes to fill about halfway.
  3. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until the mixture is well chilled and slightly frothy.
  4. Remove the shaker lid and add the edible glitter directly into the mixture; this gives the drink a shimmering, eerie glow.
  5. Replace the lid and gently shake again for a few seconds to distribute the glitter evenly throughout the cocktail.
  6. Strain the mixture into chilled martini glasses, letting the vibrant green liquid settle and the glitter shimmer visibly.
  7. If desired, garnish with a small candied apple or an edible decorative element to enhance the spooky look.

Notes

For extra shimmer, sprinkle additional edible glitter on top before serving. Serve immediately for the best visual effect.
