  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp honey or to taste

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Place the hulled and sliced strawberries into the blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender with the strawberries.
  3. Squeeze in the lemon juice to brighten the flavor of the mixture.
  4. Drop in the honey to introduce a touch of sweetness and smoothness.
  5. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 30-40 seconds.
  6. Check the texture; if it's too thick, add a splash of water and blend briefly to loosen it.
  7. Pour the bright pink slushie into glasses, letting it cascade with a frosty, icy appearance.
  8. Garnish with a fresh strawberry or a small mint sprig if desired, for an attractive presentation.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best icy texture. You can adjust sweetness by adding more honey or lemon juice according to taste.
